What's the difference between a shared and a dedicated server?
With a Dedicated Server you get a full server and it’s resources to yourself. The entire servers is yours and yours alone, unless you decide to share with friends etc. (We can create multiple accounts for you if preferred).
With a shared server you get a slot on a dedicated server. We split a dedicated server up into smaller private seedboxes and each customer gets their own private and secure seedbox to use.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Bitcoins, Paypal and most credit/debit cards.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer discounts on long term payments, 10% discount for 3 months term, 15% on 6 months term and 20% on one year term.
How do you keep billing info?
We keep billing info in a server which is separate from any of our seedboxes. Your details are encrypted and not shared with anyone. That being said, you are welcome to leave a false name or only first initials during signup if you prefer. These fields are only here for admin/support purposes. We have a very high regard for privacy and have no interest in knowing who you are as long as you aren’t doing anything fraudulent.
How long does it take to receive a response from your staff?
SeedboxSolutions.com work hard to ensure customer satisfaction and proper support, usually we answer most support inquires within 1min-24 hours. Please bare in mind there may sometimes be a delay in responding over weekends/holidays or in busy periods.
I would like to transfer from my old provider, do you offer such a service?
Yes this is no problem. After placing order simply create a support ticket and provide your previous box details and we can start a transfer for you. Please order/provide details 3-7 days in advance of any expiration date of old seedbox so that we have enough time to transfer for you.
How long does install/setup take?
Orders for dedicated servers are processed Monday-Friday (From 9am GMT) and can take 1-72 hours to install/configure hardware. Orders for shared slots ETA is 1-24 hours and are subject to slot/server availability but are usually processed within 12 hours (Monday-Friday). In some cases some orders may be delayed due to stock, availability or backlogs.
Where are your Servers Located?
We offer servers in France and Canada in a variety of Datacenters. We do not host servers in the United States.

Shared Servers and Dedicated Servers

Is there a bandwidth cap on shared servers?
No cap, no limits, no shaping. All of our shared plans are 100% Unlimited and Unmetered traffic.
Do you provide SSH / Root Access on shared servers?
No, if you require root or ssh access you will need one of our dedicated server plans. Shared servers come with access to a control panel, ruTorrent, FTP(s) and HTTP(s).
Is there a setup fee for your shared servers?
No, shared servers are hardware that has already been installed and ready for use so there is no install/setup fee.
Are your shared servers dedicated hardware or a VPS?
All of our shared servers are based on fully dedicated machines divided amongst the number of users on that plan.
Are your Shared Server plans refundable?
On our shared servers, If within 48 hours you decide that the plan you have is not for you, simply open a ticket letting us know you would like to change or a refund and we will refund 100% of your payment. After 48 hours, you will be expected to continue your plan until the end of the billing period with no refund.
Do you allow public trackers?
No. Private trackers only. Like most providers we do not allow public trackers for security purposes.
Are the shared servers setup/ready to use?
Yes. Upon delivery of login details everything is ready and waiting for you. Just simply visit your seedbox address and start using.

Do you provide SSH/Root/Desktop Access on dedicated servers?
Yes all base OS installs come with full root access. Our pre-configured Windows option comes with full access via Remote Desktop/SFTP/FTP etc. Our pre-configured ruTorrent setups comes come with access to a control panel, ruTorrent, FTP(s) and HTTP(s).
Is there a setup fee for your shared servers?
Our Dedicated servers come with setup fees as per our Website pricing. These fees are imposed on us by our Datacenters for new installations and have no markup. However from time to time we may offer vacant servers with no install fee. These servers have become vacant from non-renewal or upgrades etc so no new install is required.
Are your dedicated servers dedicated hardware or a VPS?
All of our dedicated plans are fully real dedicated hardware. We do not sell virtual hardware (VPS).
Are your dedicated Server plans refundable?
No, Our dedicated servers are real hardware installed per client order into one of our datacenters. If you want a refund policy please start by trying our shared plans first which come with a 48 hour refund policy.

No. Private trackers only. Like most providers we do not allow public trackers for security purposes.
Are the shared servers setup/ready to use?
We install everything for you! However we also offer a bare unmanaged OS option so you can install/configure yourself if you prefer (Unmanaged/No support on base OS).
